What this site is

This is a catalog: pages describing books, with links out to the retailers where you can actually buy them. There are no user accounts, no comments, and no newsletter signup. The one exception is the contact form (see "Contact," below) — that's the only place this site asks you to type anything in, and it exists solely to relay your message to us by email.

Clicking through to a retailer

Every "buy" link on this site leads to a third-party retailer — Amazon or another bookseller — to complete an actual purchase. Once you leave this site, that retailer's own privacy policy applies, not this one. We don't see, receive, or have any access to anything that happens on their side, including whether you bought anything.

Google Fonts

Page text on this site is set in typefaces loaded from Google Fonts. Loading a font this way sends your browser's request — including your IP address — to Google's servers, the same as loading an image from any other external site would. We don't use this to identify you and don't receive any data back from it ourselves; it's a byproduct of how loading a remote font file works, not a tracking mechanism we've added on purpose.

Advertising and cookies

This site doesn't show any advertising today — no ad scripts run here, and no cookies are set for advertising purposes. It's built to support Google AdSense eventually (that's why some of the technical groundwork already exists in the code), but the feature itself isn't switched on yet. When it is, this section will be rewritten to describe exactly how it works. One commitment worth making now, though: if you're visiting from the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, Google requires getting your consent before showing personalized ads or setting non-essential cookies — so once advertising does go live, you'll be asked before any of that loads, not after.

Children's privacy

Some of the books catalogued here are written for children, but this site itself isn't directed at children and isn't designed to collect anything from anyone, child or adult. If you're a parent or guardian and have a concern about a page on this site, see "Contact" below.

Changes to this policy

If what this site does with data changes — a new feature, a new third-party tool — this page will be updated to reflect it. Check back occasionally if that matters to you; there's no separate notification for changes to this page.

The contact form

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to Web3Forms, a third-party service, which relays them to us by email — that's the only way this site receives what you send. Web3Forms' servers are located in the United States, so using the form means your message travels there, not just to us in Sweden. Web3Forms keeps submissions for a limited retention period before deleting them; theirprivacy policyhas the specifics. We only ever see the message itself, forwarded to our own inbox.
